Cablevey Optimises Quoting with Bespoke QuoteWerks Enhancements

Cablevey, a leader in enclosed cable and disc conveyor systems, sought to improve its quoting process through automation. Partnering with Quintadena, the company implemented a bespoke software module using the Framework Application, ensuring seamless integration with QuoteWerks.

A key objective was automating cable calculations. The new module:

• Totals cable requirements across quote lines.
• Updates the quantity field for “AUTOCABLE” products.
• Dynamically revises totals as quotes are updated.

Additional enhancements included a Data Validation Module, ensuring all required fields were completed before actions like printing, and a Document Sorting Module, which organises quotes into structured sections for better readability.

Financially, the automation paid for itself by ensuring accurate cable charges. With enhanced efficiency, accuracy, and reduced manual effort, Cablevey is now better positioned for growth and profitability.
