The benefits of connecting QuoteWerks with Xero include:
Faster and 100% Accurate
Your QuoteWerks document already contains all the items, quantities, buying and selling prices, and vendor details for the job. It takes just a few seconds to transfer that information to Xero electronically and it can’t make a rekeying error. Such errors can be expensive and time consuming to find and rectify and reduce customer satisfaction: we released the first version of this integration in 2012 and have never had a report of it creating an error in Xero.
What QuoteWerks does
Invoice/PO Creation
Create your customer invoice as a draft Receivable Invoice ready to approve and send from Xero. The invoice details will exactly match the QuoteWerks document.
Create Purchase Orders, one for each Vendor on the QuoteWerks document, as draft Xero Purchase Orders or Payable Invoices.
Auto Contact Creation
If the customer and/or any vendor does not exist in Xero, the appropriate Xero Contact will be automatically created using the information from QuoteWerks.
Tax/Account/Currency Matching
Xero Invoices/Purchase Orders are created with the correct Tax/Account/Currency codes – these can be set in QuoteWerks or defaulted.
Part Ordering/Invoicing
Built in part-invoicing works by lines or by percentages – so you can easily create a 15% with order invoice and then invoice the balance later, or invoice just a few lines (or parts of lines) at a time. Part-invoicing works independently for Invoices and Purchase Orders, and tracks ordered and outstanding quantities so you can’t accidentally order or bill more than the customer ordered.
